We use the following HIV services to ensure the greatest quality of care.

HIV Testing

Various tests are available to detect HIV antibodies and antigens in blood or oral fluid. When a rapid test identifies antibodies, your medical provider will perform a nucleic acid test (NAT) for resigns of HIV in the blood.

PrEP

How long after exposure can you detect HIV?

The time from exposure to when a test can identify HIV will vary; it depends on the test. Testing windows the CDC advises are 10–33 days after exposure for NAT tests, while other antigen/antibody tests range from 18–90 days.

Is there a cure for HIV?

There is currently no cure for HIV. However, treatments like rapid ART can control and manage this disease, allowing people to live healthy lives.

What should I do if I think I’ve been exposed to HIV?

If you suspect you’ve been exposed to HIV, contact your medical provider to discuss the available options, including PEP treatment.
