As we approach the end of 2023, Radiant Health Centers is asking for support to uplift the community with the gift of healthcare. The Year End Appeal 2023 is our annual request for giving to improve healthcare equality in Orange County. And thanks to an anonymous donor, the first $50,000 raised by December 31st will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Why LGBTQ+ Healthcare Giving Matters
As many will be aware, 2023 saw over 100 bills that restrict healthcare access to those in the LGBTQ+ community. Healthcare equity risks being further eroded, with many transgender people left feeling vulnerable.
In response, Radiant Health Centers remains committed to serving the Orange County community, with plans to provide exceptional care to even more patients in the coming years. Continuing and expanding our mission is only possible with community support.

How Giving Helps Us Deliver Affirming Healthcare
To improve care services and serve more people, Radiant Health Centers is applying for Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. By adopting EPIC, a new and advanced electronic medical records system, we are positioned to secure FQHC status and better the experiences of our patients and providers.
Every gift we receive contributes to the ongoing success of our primary care, mental health services and youth program. And with the generosity of our supportive Orange County community, we aim to reach a new level of service in the coming years.

With last year’s appeal raising more than $120,000, we hope for another successful campaign to help us achieve FQHC status.
Why Supporting LGBTQ+ Healthcare Is so Important
At Radiant Health Centers we firmly believe that a person’s LGBTQ+ identity or HIV status should not stand in the way of receiving the best medical care. By consolidating our medical records, patients can enjoy an efficient, user-friendly system without the need to recount past personal traumas. In addition, by expanding our range of services (including HIV/Hepatitis C, addiction and PrEP care), increasing numbers of Orange County patients will get access to the stigma-free treatment they need.
