The event of the season returns once again with the announcement of the Radiant Health Centers’ 37th Annual Gala. Taking place on Saturday, June 3, 2023, the Gala promises to be the perfect start to Pride Month in a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in Orange County. What You Need to Know About the Annual Gala 2023
The 37th Annual Gala is an outdoor event taking place at the Turnip Rose Promenade in Costa Mesa. Guests will enter an enchanted Shakespearean forest filled with nymphs, fairies, royalty and mere mortals for a spectacular theme – A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Join us as we bring Shakespeare’s moonlit vision to life for a whimsical, fairytale event of fun, dancing and unforgettable experiences. Live entertainment includes a live auction, silent auction prizes, mouthwatering food and so much more.
As always, the Annual Gala will have a lasting legacy, with funds raised going towards the important goal of improving LGBTQ+ healthcare equity and HIV care for the Orange County community. Along with our LGBTQ+ year-end appeal and other fundraisers, the generosity of so many people continues to play a dramatic role in the availability of and access to much-needed health services.
The 2023 Radiant Compassion Award
The Radiant Compassion Award is a chance to honor the incredible work, activism and advocacy of an individual in the community. This year’s recipient is the Broadway star and LGBTQ+ activist Javier Muñoz.
As the star of the award-winning musical “Hamilton” and co-creator of the Alexander Hamilton role, Javier is renowned for his performances on Broadway. But he is also a committed advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and people living with HIV/AIDS, working as a (RED) global ambassador and serving on the board of trustees for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
