Since 1988, Broadway Cares has been the philanthropic heartbeat of Broadway, channeling the talent and generosity of the American theater community to provide vital support for individuals facing HIV/AIDS, and other critical illnesses.

Broadway Cares remains a beacon of hope, ensuring access to lifesaving medications, healthcare, meals, counseling, and emergency financial assistance.

Beacon of Hope Award will honor Joules Recana.

The Beacon of Hope Award, making its debut at the Radiant Health Centers’ 2024 Gala, will honor Joules Recana (he/him) as this year’s recipient.

Joules, a Junior at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) specializing in Popular Music and Musical Theatre, exemplifies resilience and inclusivity. Currently performing with Montage!, OCSA’s esteemed performance ambassadors, Joules has graced stages alongside Broadway, TV, and Disney celebrities.

Proudly representing the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, Joules challenges stigmas surrounding mental health journeys.
