At Radiant Health Centers, we offer counseling and social services to people of all backgrounds and identities in Orange County. We strive to serve people with all identities living with HIV who experience mental health issues at disproportionate rates. By providing individual and group therapy with compassionate counselors, we ensure mental health services are accessible to everyone who needs them.

At our practice, we welcome and support diverse individuals with varied identities, experiences, and needs. While we provide care for many mental health concerns, we specialize in affirming services for all individuals and people living with HIV, offering knowledgeable, compassionate support tailored to these communities.

Our counselors strive to meet the needs of our patients by offering therapy to treat anxiety and depression, troubled relationships, self-esteem and substance abuse for patients at least 12 years old and older. Counseling services are free for those who qualify.

Radiant Health Centers primarily offers group counseling using Zoom. There are support groups for both English and Spanish language speakers. We also provide limited in-person group counseling, and may offer individual counseling on a case-by-case basis. Patients can call us directly to inquire about therapy sessions.

Radiant Health Centers provides affirming mental health services for youth ages 12+ and their families. This includes individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. As with all our counseling services, identity-affirming youth sessions are safe, discreet, and private.

What happens during a virtual group counseling session?

Group counseling over Zoom is a convenient way for individuals to communicate with a counselor in a supportive and community-focused setting. Members can speak openly about their experiences of living with HIV, dealing with substance abuse, health status issues, self-esteem and other key challenges.

Counseling sessions are a chance to learn healthy coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment. Counselors can also provide referrals for help with drug and alcohol abuse.

Counseling sessions deal with topics like coping with a new health status, strategies for maintaining good health, overcoming mental health struggles and more. We also offer telehealth appointments for ongoing management of HIV.
