Housing Services Supervisor

Radiant Health Centers (RHC) seeks a Housing Services Supervisor to join our team. This position is responsible for supervision of RHC’s housing services which includes supervision of staff, coordinating/integrating program with others in the organization, obtaining funds/grants and developing and controlling the budget.

With a team of caring and committed individuals and hundreds of dedicated volunteers, RHC is working to eliminate the stigma and overcome health disparities impacting the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer + (LGBTQ+) community by providing healthy and compassionate care options.

RHC is the largest Orange County provider for such healthcare services and is currently expanding its capacity with plans to create a dedicated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) for the LGBTQ+ community.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to:

  • Works with manager to plan and evaluate all aspects of housing services.
  • Participates in housing program development and works to identify gaps in service and needs at the program level.
  • Coordinates Short Term Supportive Housing Program.
  • Coordinates with local Housing Authorities in marketing the opening of Section 8 programs to clients and assisting clients in completing applications.
  • Develops and maintains linkages to HIV housing providers, residential treatment programs, county and city housing authorities, shelters, and HIV-sensitive landlords.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with HUD section 8 programs and/or HIV case management experience.
  • Ability to interact with diverse populations and be sensitive to client needs and issues.
  • Ability to advocate for clients while demonstrating respect for policies and procedures of agency and community programs.

Accounting Assistant

Radiant Health Centers (RHC) seeks a detailed-oriented Accounting Assistant who is responsible for processing a variety of accounting transactions such as donations, journal entries, and medical billing in accordance with the department procedures. The accounting assistant works closely with the Director of Finance and various program staff to provide a high level of service and financial reporting.

The Accounting Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Receive and account for charitable donations, grant reimbursements and other revenue
  • Enter and reconcile data and invoices into financial and client related databases.
  • Collect and prepare supporting documentation for reimbursement from public and private grants
  • Assist in the preparation of journal entries to record payroll and benefits, overhead allocations, and month end closing
  • Prepare home care billings and payments.
  • Assists with bank and other account reconciliations
  • Process and reconcile medical and mental health billings
  • Assists with the collection and preparation of documentation for annual audits
  • Support the department in A/P, A/R, Payroll, and other clerical duties as assigned.

Prefer a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and experience working for a non- profit and/or healthcare industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus.

Staff Accountant

Radiant Health Centers (RHC) seeks a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This position assists in the overall fiscal control of the organization, including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, auditing, receipts, disbursements and related financial statements and year end closings.

  • Prepare recurring month end journal entries, including, but not limited to, cash receipts, agency overhead allocation, identify pre-paid expense entries, bank and account reconciliation.
  • Identify and assemble all pertinent documentation, forms, and reports for reimbursement from various public and private grants
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial statements for the agency as well as the various governmental and private foundation grants
  • Assists with compilation of lead schedules for third party and government audits
  • Assists with preparation of annual budget and other forecasting tools
  • Support the analysis and development of systems and processes that provide high quality of information to funding sources, the RHC management team and the RHC Board of Directors
  • Support the department in A/P, A/R, Payroll, and other clerical duties as assigned

Nurse Practitioner (Part-time)

Radiant Health Centers (RHC) seeks a part-time (up to 20 hours a week) Nurse Practitioner. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with a patient-centered and compassionate healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced sexual health care, prescribes treatments, and serves as a patient’s primary healthcare provider.

The Nurse Practitioner will:

  • Diagnose and/or treat acute healthcare problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries. Prescribe treatments or therapies.
  • Specimen(s) collection, administration of treatments, performing point of care lab tests.
  • Prescribe medications, counsel patients about drug regimens, possible side-effects orinteractions with other substances.
  • Maintain complete and detailed records of patient’s health care plans and prognoses.
  • Serve as site certifier for the Family Planning, Access Care and Treatment (Family PACT)Program and will be responsible for overseeing the family planning services. We are looking for candidates with the following qualities and qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience.
  • Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Prefer bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • Nurse Practitioner License and Furnishing Number/License, DEA License, CHDP certified
  • HIV Certification Preferred
  • Knowledge of PrEP and PEP preferred.
  • Experience working and sensitivity towards the LGBTQ + population.

  • Schedule and confirm medical appointments.
  • Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival; reviewingservice delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
  • Take patient medical histories and vital signs.
  • Ensure patient has completed all required paperwork prior to seeing the Provider.
  • Follow up on patient visits as instructed by Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant orPhysician).
  • Update patient charts.
  • Administer topical, oral or intramuscular medications.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests.
  • Assist Provider with examinations.
  • Call in or send prescriptions to pharmacies.

    • Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
    • Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
    • Current CPR Certificate required.
    • Must become certified as a Family Planning Health Worker within one year of hire date andcomplete Basic Counselor Skills Training as available if not a certified HIV Testing Counselor.
